The LEC is back, and fans are excited to see how all ten of the teams have been able to adjust to the new meta changes as well as Fearless Draft as a whole. Following its debut in the Winter Split, many fans criticized the overall format of the LEC, as best-of-one (Bo1) matches seemed counter-intuitive to the Fearless Draft aspect of competitive play.
Regardless, a brand new season of professional League of Legends is underway so let's see how the teams performed during Week 2 of the 2025 LEC Spring Split.

After two weeks of matches, fans and analysts are starting to get a better idea as to which teams are possible contenders for winning the Split as well as representing the LEC on the international stage. G2 is looking better than before, and KC is still quite a powerful team that rivals or even shines brighter than the previous champions. FNC are still under heavy scrutiny for their inconsistent results, and MKOI is also struggling to keep up with the best of the best.
The lower bracket teams like RGE, SK, and TH are also performing much better, but it seems RGE especially is on fraud watch once more, given how this week's match against GX was quite a frustrating experience for competitive play. Regardless, things are only heating up as there are still a lot more weeks of fun and exciting matches underway.
