After an exciting weekend of Bo3 matches, things are certainly heating up in the LEC as 8 teams are fighting tooth and nail to win the Winter Split and compete in the First Stand tournament in March. Given the double-elimination format of the tournament, and the new Fearless Draft format, a lot is riding on the line for the teams, especially with the major roster changes before the start of the competitive year.
With that being said, let's take a look at which teams will be facing each other in the second round of the 2025 LEC Winter Playoffs.

LEC Winter Playoffs Round 2 Schedule
So far, the matches have ended only after two games, with only G2 seemingly making full use of creative picks, whereas other teams stuck to their roots. Given the Regular Season performance of FNC, KC, and MKOI, fans presumed G2 might finally surrender their crown, but the 3-split winners from 2024 showed great macro and team fighting in their matches.

All of the four teams have already one loss in the Playoffs, so two teams will be eliminated from the tournament. If we take a look at the Regular Season performance, GX seem most likely to advance further, with possibly BDS having the edge over VIT. All matches will be Bo3s.

Feb 23, Sunday Matches

Possibly one of the most anticipated Bo5s so far, many fans are excited to see how G2 will pair up against the revitalized KC roster, with Vladi, Yike, and Caliste showing incredible results. However, G2 might have the upper hand given their crazy champion picks and strategies which could catch the French org off-guard. The winner of the series will get a direct spot for the Split Finals.
