AFK Journey: Best Alsa Teams for Maximum Damage

Alsa is the newest S-Rank Hero to join AFK Journey with the introduction of Song of Strife.

She is a Mage Mauler who is focused on surviving and dealing a ton of damage if she’s paired with other heroes capable of crowd control.

In this guide, we’ll show you some of the best team combinations for Alsa so that you can start using her.

Alsa Introduction

Alsa is a great Mage control unit that can deal a ton of damage while staying relatively healthy thanks to her stone walls and evasion skills.

While she has a ton of damage, most of it is sadly locked away behind a condition. A ton of Alsa’s damage comes from being able to CC the enemy heroes so that she can use her [Rolling Boulder] skill to drop rocks on them and deal massive damage.

Although Alsa herself has some CC tied to her kit, it is not enough to get the most use out of her, which is why we need to pair her with other good crowd-control units to help her deal maximum damage.

Best Alsa Teams

Teams in AFK Journey consist of five heroes, and with Alsa being one of those five, that leaves us with four other slots to fill.

Out of those four, the best teammate for Alsa is without a doubt Eironn. Eironn is one of the best CC units in AFK Journey, and if you have him at Mythic +, then he will instantly be able to use his ultimate to CC all enemies, allowing Alsa to cast her [Rolling Boulder] right as the fight starts.

Other great picks for Alsa include:

• Arden - Great CC, thanks to his ultimate.
• Damian - A great Wilder healer that starts shining at endgame and is useful for the Faction Bonus.
• Thoran - Great at helping keep Alsa alive in tough situations, thanks to his M+.

With that out of the way, it is time to show you some sample teams for Alsa. As with any team, they will include a Tank and Healer, which you can always swap for your most-built Heroes, but you should try to keep the Faction Bonus when forming your teams.

With this team you will have more than enough CC to instantly group foes and keep them locked, unable to harm either your Alsa or Arden.

For this team, you can do the following swaps:

• Granny = Brutus or Antandra
• Damian = Smokey & Meerky / Hewynn

Best Alsa PvP Team

Best PvP Team
Thoran	Eironn	Alsa	Florabelle	Reinier

This team will have your Alsa stay behind your Thoran to keep her healthy and deal a lot of damage, while also ideally having Reinier teleport her to give her some healing.

Eironn is also crucial here, as he is needed to bring out most of Alsa’s damage. Florabelle is a nice addition, but if you feel like you are dying too often, you can swap her with a Wilder healer or another Wilder crowd-control unit such as Arden.
