Larian Studios has just introduced Hotfix 15 for Baldur's Gate 3, incorporating numerous changes and fixes to the overall gameplay. We're back with a selection of information about changes made exclusively to companions, similar to what we did with Astarion in Patch 4. This article lists only changes to Baldur's Gate 3 companions—Shadowheart, Karlach, Lae'zel, and Gale, to be precise! If you want to discover everything new in this BG3 hotfix, check out the full article.

- Addressed performance issues occurring at the conclusion of the cinematic in which Shadowheart kills Nightsong in the Shadowfell.
- Fixed incorrect character behaviors that were likely introduced in Patch 4.
- The 'Deal with the Devil' quest now accommodates various outcomes in the Epilogue.
- Ensured that Karlach receives her scene in Avernus, regardless of whether she's functioning as an avatar or a companion.
- Resolved the issue where companions were unable to jump while following the player character.
- Fixed a situation where completing the tutorial with only Lae'zel alive prevented the player from saving the game in Act I.
- Corrected Gale's dialogue, preventing it from ending abruptly when asked about what he wanted to show.
- Addressed several instances of the "Pinocchio issue," wherein characters' noses (and cheeks) were elongated during cinematics, accompanied by the unsettling loss of eyeballs, transforming the eye sockets into flesh pits.
- Fixed equipment tooltips that were randomly closing on the controller without player input when accessed via the Inventory.
