New Advanced Tracks for Fortnite Rocket Racing

Experience sharp bends, obstacle dodging, and off-road flying all the way to the finish line with two new track for advanced players.

  • Lazy Lake 2: This is the first new track unlocked in Ranked Racing once you reach Gold I. Keep a tight grip on the steering wheel as you navigate hazards working overtime.
  • K2 Raceway Deux: Designed for seasoned Rocket Racing drivers, K2 Raceway Deux demands mastery of your racing technique. Reach Platinum I in ranked racing to unlock this challenging track.

Trails: New Customization Option

Say hello to Trails, an exciting addition to the Locker items that allows you to personalize your car in Fortnite Rocket Racing.

  • Trails will soon be eligible for cross-game ownership, allowing players to own certain Trails in Rocket League if they obtain them in Fortnite, and vice versa.
  • The first Trail in Fortnite Rocket Racing is the Drift Smoke Trail. Stay tuned for more Trails coming to the Fortnite Shop over time

IMPROVED MOBILE TOUCH CONTROLS

  • The D-pad, accelerate, Turbo, air dodge, and jump buttons, have received visual and usability improvements.

  • Auto Accelerate is now enabled and it can be toggled on or off.

  • To stop, players need to press and hold the brake button. Once they reach 0 on the speedometer, they'll start to reverse.
     

MAJOR IMPROVEMENTS AND BUG FIXES

  • Improved overall CPU performance, especially on lower-end devices.

  • Sitting idle during a race will now put the player back in the Lobby.

  • Car collision is now less severe. We’ll continue to improve this interaction over future updates.

  • Air dodging is now smoother when landing.

  • Have the pre-race jitters? You can now wiggle and swivel the camera before a race!

  • The “Invert Steer Method” setting, which inverts steering controls when upside down, now properly remains enabled when changed.

  • Fixed an issue related to players getting stuck post-race.

  • Fixed an issue on Android that prevented players from switching languages.
