Kaiju No.8 is one of the anime set to air in April of 2024, it adapts the Kaiju No.8 manga, which is set in a world that is facing a monster, or as known in the Manga, a Kaiju crisis. Japan is the country with the most kaiju attacks, and as such has set up a defense force, known as the: Anti-Kaiju Defense Force.
The members of the defense force use special suits made out of kaiju materials to increase their capabilities, allowing them to fight the kaiju. It is in this world that the main character Kafka Hibino gains the ability to transform into a kaiju after a small kaiju enters his body.
