Fan-Made Attack on Titan Anime With Alternative Ending: Confirmed Release Window and All Details You Need to Know

Although the Attack on Titan anime ended just last year, fans are taking the initiative to create their own take on the ending of the series. The release window for the ending has been confirmed for Fall 2024 and you can find the details below.

Attack on Titan is known as one of the best anime of all time for a good reason. With an amazing storyline, brilliant foreshadowing, and shocking plot twists, AOT has been keeping fans on edge for years. Although the manga officially ended in 2021, the anime adaptation of Attack on Titan's ending aired just last year.

As with everything else, fans had different opinions on the ending of the series. While some liked it and thought it made sense, others were highly unsatisfied with how the story concluded.

Even when the end of the manga dropped back in 2021, fans were speculating that Mappa would come up with their anime-only ending. However, AOT's official studio stuck with the manga and adapted everything exactly as it was written.

Studio Eclipse has already released a teaser for 'Attack on Titan: Requiem'. The animation looks great and fans have noticed that it even has some similarities with the art styles of both Mappa and Wit.

The release window for the new Attack on Titan anime has been officially confirmed by Studio Eclypse to come out during the Fall of 2024.

Fans Are Making a New AOT Anime With a Completely Different Ending

The fans who are producing the new Attack on Titan ending are known for their previous work. The studio, called Eclipse, has also worked on a Berserk adaptation.

Studio Eclipse has already provided some information about the upcoming AOT project on their official YouTube and X accounts.

  • The anime will have both Japanese and English Dub
  • The name of their adaptation will be "Attack on Titan: Requiem"
