The final week of Bo1s and with several teams now qualified for the Playoffs, there is still a lot on the line for the remainder of the LEC competitors. Following a very turbulent week, players will need to lock in should they wish to continue their competitive journey and possibly compete in the new international First Stand tournament.

With that in mind, we will go over the Bo1 match in the 2025 LEC Winter Split which has Team BDS facing GIANTX in the third week of the LEC.

BDS vs GX Picks

BDS GX
Irrelevant Rumble Renekton Lot
113 Maokai Nocturne Closer
nuc 1x Orianna Jackies
     Ice Varus Kalista Noah
Parus Leona Gragas Jun

Winner: GX

GX seemed poised to win this game given how remarkable Noah and Closer were during the neutral objective fights. While BDS did try their best to weather the storm, Jackies and Jun were simply too sticky as they denied any engages. A messy Atakhan fight did give BDS a chance to come back, however, GX was simply too clean this game and was able to wipe out the entire enemy team.

Who would have thought that Gragas support would be so impactful against a somewhat immobile team comp? Regardless, a whopping 6K gold lead at the 33-minute mark as Noah's Kalista was such a monster coupled with the Nocturne and Orianna engage, BDS stood no chance at dealing with this combo.

In the end, GX was able to win out the last team fight after some very clutch engages on the side of BDS. With GX now qualified for Playoffs, only a small number of teams remain eligible to continue their journey in the 2025 LEC Winter Season.
