Thoughts on Berserk Chapter 380 & Review

Berserk 380
Hakusensha

The most recent Berserk chapter seems to put an end to the idea that Guts will overcome his despair on his own. Previous chapters showed him struggling, but this one reveals that he no longer cares. He seems numb by now, and we hate to see the beloved character in such a dire state. We've spent years with his adventures, and the sight is heartbreaking. The chapter ends with Schierke entering Falconia, showcasing the capabilities of other characters like Farnese, Roderick, the Kushan, Salit, and the island mages.

The combined efforts of the supporting cast, along with Schierke starting her search for Casca at Falconia's doorstep, suggest that Guts will need help. But will he get any? Those who have been protected and saved by Guts up to this point are capable and will step up to rescue him. It seems that Casca needs to return to Guts before the final battle. We're rooting for her!
