Black Myth Wukong - All Medicine Formulas & Locations

Once you complete Xu Dog's questline in Black Myth Wukong, you'll be introduced to Pills for the first time since the beginning of your journey. These Medications are used to help you resist the Four Bane Statuses, and their Formulas can be found everywhere around the world of the game.

When you unlock the recipes, you'll be able to craft the Pills at any Keeper's Shrine, as long as you have the necessary materials. In this guide, we'll show you how to get all Medicine Formulas in Black Myth Wukong.

Black Myth Wukong All Medicine Formulas

It's important to note that the Medicine Formulas in Black Myth Wukong cannot be missed, and you can gather all of them before defeating the final boss. However, be aware that you'll have to finish multiple side quests to do so.

Start from the Sandgate Village Keeper's Shrine, turn right, and drop down to meet Xu Dog. Go a little bit further and defeat Lang-Li-Guhh-Baw to get the Evil Repelling Medicament.

You can purchase the Longevity Decoction from Xu Dog at the beginning of Chapter 2.

Tonifying Decoction

The Tonifying Decoction can be found at the start of Chapter 3, and you have to buy it from Xu Dog.

Fortifying Medicament

Start Chen Loong's quest, and when he requests the Fortifying Medicament, go to Xu Dog, who will give you the Formula.

Tiger Subduing Pellets

From the Precept Corridor in the Bitter Lake, keep going straight until you walk past the New West Meditation Spot. The Tiger Subduing Pellets are inside the container.

Body-Fleeting Powder

Find the Temple Entrance of the New Thunderclap Temple and go inside the building in front of you. After you exit, go up the stairs on the left side and keep walking forward. Turn left and go down the staircase. Climb to the upper floor of the next building, leave the room, and turn left; the Body-Fleeting Powder will be in the container.

Essence Decoction

The Essence Decoction can be purchased from Xu Dog at the beginning of Chapter 4.

Ginseng Pellets

Once you reach the Verdure Bridge in the Webbed Hollow, cross the broken bridge and turn left. Watch the cutscene and go through the doors. Search through the chests to find the Ginseng Pellets.

Mirage Pill

Leave the Verdure Bridge, walk forward, and drop down into the hole. Keep going straight and turn left where the path splits. Go up the stairs, turn right, and climb the next staircase. The Mirage Pill will be inside the small house on the right.

Life-Saving Pill

Start from the Petalfall Hamlet Keeper's Shrine, cross the bridge, go up the stairs, and you'll see Daoist Mi. Turn right, and at the end of the path, go left. Cross the next bridge and enter the house. You'll find the Life-Saving Pill on the table.

Aura Amplification Pellets

The Aura Amplification Pellets can be bought from Xu Dog at the start of Chapter 5.

Septenary Heartfire Pill

The Septenary Heartfire Pill is located close to the first Keeper's Shrine in the Bishui Cave.

Ascension Powder

Go to the Verdant Keeper's Shrine, walk straight ahead, and defeat the Supreme Inspector to get the Ascension Powder.

Soul Remigration Pill

To obtain the Soul Remigration Pill, go to Xu Dog in the Cellar of the Crouching Tiger Temple in New Game Plus.
