The LCK is back with a thunder, following the victory at the First Stand tournament by HLE, many fans and analysts are excited to see how the region has adapted to Fearless Draft, as well as the meta.
With MSI 2025 on the horizon, all of the LCK teams are looking to secure a spot at the next international tournament and defeat some of the strongest teams in the world. With that being said, let's take a look at the BRO vs DNF match from the 2025 LCK Round 1-2.

2025 LCK Round 1-2 Format
With Fearless Draft still in play, pro players will need to constantly adapt to an ever-shifting meta and draft their way to victory. Thankfully, there will be no best-of-one (Bo1) matches for this split so all of the teams will be able to give it their all.
Format
- 10 teams participate
- Double Round Robin
- All matches are best of three (Bo3)
- Top six teams qualify for Road to MSI
- Based on this rounds' results teams will be seeded into Rounds 3-5
- Top five teams will start in the Legend Group
- Bottom five teams will start in the Rise Group

Despite the early lane dominance on the side of DNF's Caitlyn and Karma, BRO was able to snag a kill onto Pyosik's Skarner around the 10-minute mark, but DNF slowly accrued a small gold lead. Another kill for BRO around Herald near the 17-minute mark showcased the rather slow pace of the game, with both of the teams prioritizing objectives over skirmishes. DNF finally was able to find a good fight in the bot lane as they killed several BRO members and started snowballing the game.
After having secured the Baron, DNF continued their rampage onto BRO, decimating and dismantling the enemy roster without giving them any chance of a comeback and kicking off the series 1-0.

A great early game start as BRO managed to get some slight leads with Hype's Varus coupled with Pollu's Alistar dominated DNF bot lane. HamBak's Wukong was also vital to the success of BRO as he took away important objectives. BRO's domination continued throughout the game, claiming the Infernal Soul and pushing DNF into a corner. After almost 30 minutes of pure decimation, BRO was able to tie the series 1-1

Another slow start to the game as BRO was able to pick up two drakes for DNF's 5 Voidgrubs. It seems the draft gap was far too wide and let BRO stomp DNF after a couple of fantastic team fights. Pollu's Poppy was phenomenal, alongside Clozer's Sylas and HamBak's Pantheon wiping the floor with DNF. In the end, BRO won the series by going 2-1.
