Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is one of the newest RPGs to hit the gaming market, and in typical RPG fashion it is a game that will suck out quite a few hours of your time. The game can take as little as 30 hours to beat, and double that to do a full run!

The developers of the game have stated that they believe the main story of the game should take players more than 30 hours to complete, and this means only doing the main story missions. While $50 is definitely not a small sum for a game, having more than 30 hours of content just from the main story alone more than justifies the hefty price tag that the developers are requesting. Couple this with the very positive reviews on Steam, and you most certainly know that this will be a game that is worth your time.

What About Side Content?

Remember, those 30+ hours are meant just for the main story of the game. The game also has a plethora of side content that you can do, which will more or less double the time you’ve spent on the main story, making up for more than 60 hours of gameplay. The side sidecontent in the game can mean going around and doing all of the side quests, getting all collectibles, massacring all of the bosses, and maybe even some trophy hunting, so you are sure that you will be glued to your chair for a long time.

Is There More?

And if the main story and side content aren’t enough for you, there is always the option of trying out the New Game+ mode that the game has to offer to get a brand-new experience and maybe shoot for some of those different endings Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has. If you go around everything, trying to complete all of the endings and claim all of the trophies, then you are easily looking at 100 hours of pure fun!
