In Starfield, you'll discover a fascinating addition to the gameplay: cosmic powers. These powers provide a new dimension to your character's growth and abilities. Whether you use them for combat, altering gravity on a planet, or glimpsing into the future, these powers are integral to your journey through the cosmos. Those with these powers are known as Starborn, but fear not if you aren't one of them; you can still acquire these abilities in the game.
All Starfield Powers and Their Functions
Starfield boasts 24 unique powers that can be unlocked by exploring the universe and locating Artifact temples. While only a few main temples that grant these powers have been unveiled thus far, we have compiled a list of all the Starfield Powers and their functions:
- Anti-Gravity Field: Create a low-gravity field to experience a planet's true power. Associated Temple: Eta
- Personal Atmosphere: Generate pure oxygen to breathe deeply and counteract harmful carbon dioxide. Associated Temple: Alpha

- Sense Star Stuff: Connect with the particles of creation to sense the life force of humans, aliens, or Starborn. Associated Temple: Chi
- Precognition: See into the multiverse and visualize future actions. Associated Temple: Iota
- Grav Dash: Manipulate gravity to propel yourself forward and briefly boost your damage. Associated Temple: Zeta
- Creator's Peace: Pacify and disarm all nearby enemies. Associated Temple: Nu

Unlocking Powers in Starfield
To unlock powers in Starfield, you'll need to find Artifacts and locate their associated temples. The first power is acquired by completing the main quest "Into the Unknown" and investigating a Scanner Anomaly site on Procyon-III. You must have completed the missions "One Small Step" and "The Old Neighborhood" beforehand.
