In the last episode, we saw our main characters Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu approach the final stage of their training. Now it is time for the Stone Hashira to improve the Corps members' muscle strength.

To complete Gyomei's training, the Corps members have to pass three stages: withstanding the water pressure of a waterfall, carrying three big logs, and pushing an enormous boulder. We saw some funny scenes throughout the training, like how all the Corps members used rocks to heat up because the river water was unbelievably cold.

In between the Stone Hashira training, we actually got a glimpse of Muzan and what he is currently up to. We have seen throughout the season how Upper Moon Four has been spying on all Corps members. Muzan has been telling Upper Moon Four, Nakime, where to investigate, and he even congratulates her for becoming stronger than he ever expected. She reveals that she already keeps track of 60% of all Corps members, and Kibutsuji is getting closer and closer to finding Nezuko and Ubuyashiki's whereabouts.

Even though our main boys have been doing great in their training, the last stage—the boulder—seems to be too hard for all of them. We see Tanjiro training day and night with no progress at all. That was until Genya showed up and gave him some advice based on Himejima's skills. To use Himejima and Genya's strength technique, Tanjiro has to recall his memories of anger and pain.

What allows Tanjiro to get stronger is the repetitive thought of his family and Rengoku's last words to him: "Set your heart ablaze." It's always good to see Rengoku come back through Tanjiro's memories and the huge influence he left on him. With that, Tanjiro was finally able to move the boulder and complete his training.
