Dragon's Dogma 2 is full of monsters for you to battle. As you progress along your adventure, you will come up against cyclopes, griffins, goblins, and more. If you are on a quest to find more Wyrmslife Crystals, you will need your eye open for the dragons of the action RPG.
In Dragon's Dogma 2, you will want to pick up as many Wyrmslife Crystals as you can find. You will find these crystals by defeating draconic enemies. That includes drakes and lesser dragons as well as the final boss.

What Are Wyrmslife Crystals in Dragon's Dogma 2?
Wyrmslife Crystals are red drops of dragon blood, crystallized and used as a premium currency in Dragon's Dogma 2. At some point in the game, you will meet a human male called the Dragonforged. You can find him primarily at the Bay Wayside Shrine.
He doesn't deal in gold like most merchants but only works with Wyrmslife Crystals. Considering his items and enhancements are incredibly powerful, you should be on the lookout for WLC.

Where to Find Wyrmslife Crystals in Dragon's Dogma 2
The bad news is the only way to find Wyrmslife Crystals is by fighting dragons or draconic enemies. They are difficult to take down so we recommend starting to farm when you are at a higher level. Make sure you have a mage to heal your party and start the search as true dragon hunters.
Dragons and their kind don't randomly appear throughout the map. They have set locations but do respawn after around seven in-game days. Some players report waiting fourteen days and having to reboot Dragon's Dogma 2 before dragons respawn.
If you find a good area to hunt them down, you can always rest at the campfire for a week or so and do it all over again. Here are a few places we know have dragons around.
- The Ancient Battleground in Vermund
- Harve Village has two drakes nearby
- Dragonsbreath Tower in Battahl
- The Forgotten Ruins in Battahl, near the Trickster Maister
- Near the Dragonforged, on the path to Vermund
If you are still struggling to find a good hunting ground, you can equip your Pawn with the Forager Specification and search for the Dragon Scale material on your map. If there are Dragon Scales, there are Wyrmslife Crystals.

Best Way to Farm Wyrmslife Crystals in Dragon's Dogma 2
Make sure you are using the thief vocation and unlock the Bump and Lift skill. With each hit you land on dragons or draconic enemies, there is a chance you will steal Wyrmslife Crystals. If you fill your party with thieves and equip weapons that don't do heavy damage, you can farm hundreds of WLC from dragons but it will take some time.

Unlock the Pillage or Plunder skills and whenever you stun your opponent, you will have another chance to get your hands on Wyrmslife Crystals. This can also work on the final boss. The dragon will drop 100 WLC on his death anyway but if you use the thief skills and take your time, you can come away with over 300 Wyrmslife Crystals. This will allow you to purchase the unique equipment available from the Dragonforged after you have completed Dragon's Dogma 2.
Also, be aware that during fights some Wyrmslife Crystals can drop to the ground. After any battle with draconic enemies, check around and pick up anything that might have fallen. Some players report that in the areas and nests where you find dragons, there is also a chance to find WLC lying around but it is rare.
That's everything you need to know about farming Wyrmslife Crystals. Find a good dragon nest and use thief skills to pull every drop of blood from them before finishing them off. I hope this helped.
