Halls of the First Dawn is the main quest in the post-game section of Dragon’s Dogma 2. Here you will learn the state of the Unmoored World and what you can do to help everyone escape the coming destruction. To start this mission, you will first need to achieve the true ending by using the Empowered Godsbane Blade on yourself in the final fight with the dragon that stole your heart.

This quest is time-sensitive so you will need to hurry otherwise the fog at the edge of the map will grow and consume everything in its path. All the water in the world has drained away, uncovering the Seafloor Shrine. Make your way there to get started with Halls of the First Dawn.

You will start this quest as soon as you wake up after the Legacy main mission. All of the pathways around the Seafloor Shrine are accessible now the seas have gone in Dragon's Dogma 2. Head to the castle to learn more about the new world you see.

You will encounter a lot of undead enemies on the way. In the Unmoored World, there is little difference between day and night. Keep an eye out for any chests along the path because they contain valuable items like Ferrystones and Wakestones.

At the castle, you will see Rothais waiting for you in the central yard. Talk to him to learn his story and what is happening to the world. After your conversation, Luz will appear and explain that the Seafloor Shrine is the only place with a chance of surviving the incoming disaster. You will have to go to each settlement and convince the people to leave their homes.

Interact with the Portcrystal nearby and that will activate all other fast travel locations in Dragon’s Dogma 2. You need to move quickly because the mission will end even if you haven’t helped anyone after several in-game days. We recommend starting with the settlements closer to the edges of the map as they are closer to destruction.

All evacuation quests are different but will automatically end all nearby missions when complete. If you have a storyline in one of the major cities you want to finish, you have to hurry. Below is the list of the evacuation missions with links to our guides.

You will receive the Guardian achievement when you have completed all evacuation quests. With the Halls of the First Dawn ended, there is only one last thing you can do in the game. At the Seafloor Shrine, there is a red beacon waiting for you. Interact with it and bring Dragon’s Dogma 2 to an end.

You will have the choice to try New Game Plus for another playthrough of the game with your existing character and all your items. Your other option is to create a new character and start the game from the beginning. Try to complete all the quests a different way and perfect another vocation.
