One of the main ways to keep Dragon's Dogma 2 fresh is by regularly switching between the different Vocations in the game, providing you with new abilities and playstyles on a whim. The game has 10 different Vocations and it heavily incentivizes you to try them all out, by providing you with passive abilities, called Augments, for leveling them up through combat. One issue that players might have is that some of these Vocations can only be unlocked through quests that are scattered across the open-world, with some of them requiring you to travel to really obscure locations.
One of these Vocations is the Trickster, which you have to travel all across the map if you want to unlock it as soon as possible. In this article, we are going to show you where you have to go and what you have to do in order to unlock the Trickster Vocation in Dragon's Dogma 2.

Dragon's Dogma 2: How to Unlock the Trickster Vocation
The Trickster is one of the harder Vocations to unlock in the game, by virtue of how far away it is from the start of the game. If you are looking for a support Vocation that will make your Pawns a lot stronger in combat, here is how you can unlock the Trickster. In order to unlock this Vocation, you are going to have to reach a certain point in the main story, which is during or after the ''Flickering Shadows'' quest.

Once you have reached this point of the main-story quest, you are going to have to travel to the Reverent Shrine location in Battahl. In the Reverent Shrine, you will be able to find a spectral version of Luz and by speaking to her you will be able to unlock the Trickster Vocation. Make sure to visit a Vocation Guild afterwards, in order to select the Trickster.
Trickster Unlock Summary:
- Available after completing the "Flickering Shadows" main-story quest.
- Travel to the Reverent Shrine location in Battahl.
- Speak to the spectral version of Luz in the Reverent Shrine and unlock the Trickster Vocation.
That is everything you need to know about unlocking the Trickster Vocation in Dragon's Dogma 2. If you want to try out a support Vocation that will make you Pawns a lot more effective in combat, this might be the class for you.
