If you're a fan of Dune, there's something extra special right around the corner for you! The wait is over! Dune: Awakening is releasing its Beta weekend. Excited to try out the game’s early story content?  Here's a guide that will tell you everything you need to know - release date and time, how to join, system requirements, gameplay features, and more.

How to Join the Dune: Awakening Beta Weekend (May 9–12)

We won't lie to you - getting access to the beta won't be easy. However, this doesn't mean you should give up without trying!

1. Wishlist and Request Access on the official Dune: Awakening Steam page.

2. Sign Up With Your Email on the official website.

3. Watch the Global LAN Party Broadcast on May 10 for a chance to grab one of tens of thousands of Beta codes. It will be live on Twitch.

Wondering when the Dune Beta starts? Here's when you can expect the launch. 

Beta Launch

May 9:

• North America: 8:00 AM EDT / 5:00 AM PDT

• South America: 9:00 AM BRT

• Europe: 2:00 PM CEST

• Asia: 8:00 PM CST / 9:00 PM JST

Beta End

May 12:

• North America: 5:59 PM EDT / 2:59 PM PDT

• South America: 6:59 PM BRT

• Europe: 11:59 PM CEST

• Asia: 5:59 AM CST (May 13) / 6:59 AM JST (May 13)

You gotta make sure you'll be able to run the game on your system beforehand. Keep these stats in mind:

What Happens After the Beta?

• Progress won't carry over to launch

• Early access begins June 5 (Deluxe/Ultimate Editions)

• Full Dune: Awekening release is on June 10
