First Stand 2025 Standings and Semifinals Schedule

With the Group Stage of the tournament now over, only four teams were able to advance to the Knockout Stage, following five days of back-to-back best-of-three (Bo3) matches. First Stand has been packed with so many upsets and nail-biting moments that fans are left wanting even more.

Karmine Corp, Team Liquid, Top Esports, Hanwha Life Esports  and CTBC Flying Oyster gave the fans some banger matches and further cemented the need for Fearless Draft in every LoL Esport event and regional tournament. We will go ahead and look at the schedule for the next two matches and the standings of the tournament so far.

First Stand Standings

Here are the current standings as of Day 5 of the First Stand tournament. Given the lack of tiebreaks and rules for the event, 3 teams have found themselves in the same spot in terms of wins and losses, however, Team Liquid was eliminated after losing their series against HLE.

If you are wondering how come the tiebreaker procedures led to Top Esports and Karmine Corp advancing, whilst the LTA North representative getting eliminated, well the rulebook of First Stand has some interesting twists.

1. Head-to-head (H2H) record was not taken into account for the bottom three teams given how each of the rosters have defeated at least one of the other two teams.
2. Total Win / Loss percentage within the matches between all of the tied teams.
3. Total Game Win / Loss percentage for the entirety of the event, hence where TL was unable to qualify for the Knockout Stage.
4. Average Game Victory time (within the matches involving tied teams)
5. Average Game Victory time (full event)
6. Coin flip

There has been some discussion within the community whether or not the second or third rule should have more of an impact of determining the team that gets to advance, but in the end, the lack of proper tiebreaks surely has left fans wanting more from the tournament. First Stand Semifinals Schedule

Now that we know which teams got to the Semifinals, let's check out when we can expect to watch and support our favorites. From here on out, the remaining three matches will be best-of-five (Bo5) so a lot more opportunities for a comeback, following the five days of best-of-three (Bo3) matches.

First Bo5 Semifinal

To the surprise of many, CFO become the dark horse of the tournament, winning against every team except HLE, which further proved how much both Fearless Draft and the game has evolved, allowing for major upsets. Will KC be able to redeem their run or will CFO prove to the world that the LCP is not to be underestimated?

Second Bo5 Semifinal

With HLE being the tournament favorites, it is interesting to see whether TES will finally wake up and show why they were able to qualify in the first place. TES has had quite the bad rep when it comes to performing internationally, but HLE have also shown some weaknesses with the LCK team losing a game against the LEC and LTA North teams.
