An exciting start to the LEC professional season as the entire region saw drastic roster changes. Not only is G2 looking a lot weaker, but the top spots are heavily contested by the likes of FNC, GX, KC, and MKOI. Following the domination of G2 in previous years, the LEC finally feels a lot more competitive with a lot more stakes and fun plays to witness for fans.

With that in mind, we will go over the Bo1 match in the 2025 LEC Winter Split which has Fnatic facing Team BDS in the second week of the LEC.

FNC vs BDS Picks

FNC BDS
Oscarinin Rumble Renekton Irrelevant
Razork Vi Nidalee 113
Humanoid Smolder Jayce nuc
    Upset Kalista Varus Ice
Mikyx Rell Braum Parus

Winner: FNC

FNC was the favorite in this match, however, BDS stepped up their game by drafting quite the difficult-to-execute comp. Nidalee was able to get an early lead, with BDS further snowballing their advantage. A bloody fight around Atakhan went in the favor of FNC, eliminating any gold lead BDS had acquired.

With FNC having drafted a scaling comp, they were able to slowly but surely take over the game as BDS kept going for plays with no success. Although BDS was able to keep the game rather stable with their poke, and unfortune play by Ice ultimately allowed FNC to win the Bo1.
