The LEC Spring Playoffs are finally here and fans are more than excited to see the top performing teams duke it out in best-of-five matches. Given the major upsets during the Regular Season, the region has seen significant shifts in power with G2 Esports no longer dominating the scene, and Karmine Corp, Fnatic and Movistar KOI taking the reigns from the former reigning champions.
Let us not forget for the underdogs GIANTX and Team Heretics as they showed amazing improvements over the course of the Spring Regular Season as they also have a chance at causing some major upsets. Having said that, let's take a look at the League of Legends EMEA Championship 2025 Spring Playoffs.

LEC 2025 Spring Playoffs Format
After the Regular Season, fans and analysts saw some great best-of-three series between the best of the best as the LEC finally feels like it's not a one-team region. It is interesting to see how the teams will perform during the Playoffs.

Despite FNC stomping G2 in the first game, everything suddenly turned for the worse as G2 constantly punished FNC's overaggression, slowly building up a lead, and although FNC got the upper hand in most team fights, G2 just kept winning.
Not only was Razork running it down, but Oscarinin and Humanoid also fell flat in the next games, thus resulting in G2 once again defeating FNC in the age-old rivalry by going 3-1 in this series.
