Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 has finally launched, and there are tons of new mechanics and items in the game. The Aspects of the Gods are gone, and now we have three new Medallions from the new bosses called 'Spoils of War.' There are many quests and challenges that require you to obtain and use the new Medallions, so it's crucial to know where to get them and what their effects are.

In this guide, we will show you every Medallion location and exactly what they do in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3.

There are only three Medallions this season, and you can get them by defeating the new bosses: Ringmaster Scarr, The Machinist, and Megalo Don. In Fortnite: Wrecked, you don't have to summon the bosses to defeat them and get their Medallions. Instead, they have designated starting areas. Interestingly, after some time has passed, the bosses will get in their cars, form a convoy, and start roaming around the map.

The only exception is Ringmaster Scarr, who requires you to stay in the Monster Truck area, Nitrodome, and complete his vehicle challenge by driving through the blue rings to make him appear and fight you.

This can be quite a challenge if you want to get a certain Medallion later in the game. While the bosses are on the move, you can locate them by opening up your map, where you will see the Medallion icon. If you want to grab a specific Medallion at the beginning of the game, here are their starting locations:

  • Ringmaster Scarr - Nitrodome
  • The Machinist - Redline Rig
  • Megalo Don - Brutal Beachhead

Check the image below for their exact locations on the map.

If you are wondering what the new Medallions do, here is a brief description of each Medallion's power:

  • Your weapons have infinite ammunition and increased damage

  • You are infused with unlimited Nitro.

All of these Medallions are incredibly useful, and you will be super powerful if you hold any of them. I personally prefer Megalo Don's Medallion since the effects of the others can be gathered through consumables, while the Nitro is usually a temporary effect for a few seconds.
