The final week of Bo1s and with several teams now qualified for the Playoffs, there is still a lot on the line for the remainder of the LEC competitors. Following a very turbulent week, players will need to lock in should they wish to continue their competitive journey and possibly compete in the new international First Stand tournament.

G2 vs MKOI Picks

G2 MKOI
BrokenBlade Ornn Gwen Myrwn
SkewMond Wukong Vi Elyoya
Caps  Aurora Taliyah Jojopyun
     Hans Sama Ezreal Varus Supa
Labrov Leona Rakan Alvaro

Winner: G2

A great start for the G2 bot lane as Hans Sama and Labrov outplayed Supa and Alvaro, leading to Ezreal getting quite the early lead and enabled SkewMond to roam and farm efficiently as they contested the Void Grubs. Although G2 started out strong, MKOI was able to punish the still rather disjointed roster, making use of deep vision and strategic grouping around important objective timers.

The match was full of very messy fights, leading to minor advantages for G2, however, MKOI still remained relevant throughout the entire game. Although MKOI tried hard to catch SkewMond before Baron, they simply lacked the damage to burst down Wukong, which in turn secured G2 the first Baron of the game.

After a shaky performance, G2 finally cemented their spot in the Playoffs, given the criticism the new roster received during the first week of the Regular Season.
