Finally, the League of Legends EMEA Championship has kicked off, and there are so many changes to be excited about. Not only has the game changed due to gameplay adjustments, but the massive roster changes in the LEC might result in a quite fun and exhilarating year of professional play.

We will take a look at the picks and bans of the game. Although the first three weeks of the LEC will feature best-of-one matches (Bo1), we will soon get to see the pros adapt to the new Fearless Draft format that has been adapted for all major regions.

Finally, G2 was able to return to their old form, with Hans going for his iconic Draven pick and Caps singlehandedly carried the team as SK was unable to keep up with the damage and overall macro. Following two very disappointing days of matches, it seems that G2 still need to polish their communication and team fighthing, but thankfully, G2 won their game against SK, ending the first week of the LEC 1-2.
