Yumemizuki Mizuki is the newest 5-star character to be added to Genshin Impact. She is the 6th Anemo Catalyst user to be added to the game, adding yet another swirl unit to the roster. Having said that, the unique thing about Yumemizuki Mizuki is that she will be joining the standard banner after her initial rate-up banner. So now then, let’s look at what Mizuki does and how you can build her!

Honestly, let me start by saying that Mizuki is not that great. She is an interesting unit that can efficiently swirl elements to provide a slightly different take on the swirl playstyle. Most of her damage comes from Swirling with the help of her Elemental Skill. Mizuki’s elemental skill allows her to glide in the air while shooting Anemo bullets that deal negligible damage and can swirl. Her Elemental Burst will spawn pickable items that will either heal your on-field character or explode to swirl and do damage, depending on how much HP% you have. All in all, Mizuki is a very simple unit to use, but she’s quite weak, in most cases being even less viable than Sucrose.

Mizuki’s best weapon choice is naturally her signature 5-star weapon, the [Sunny Morning Sleep-In]. This weapon is a great choice for Mizuki, as it greatly boosts her Elemental Mastery. Having said that, if you do not feel like spending all of those Primogems on this weapon, you can always go for the [Sacrificial Fragments], which is a great 4-star option for her.

When it comes to artifact sets, you will generally want to use the [Viridescent Venerer] on Mizuki. It both boosts Anemo and Swirl damage, making it the best choice for Mizuki.

Lastly, for skills, you first want to focus on Mizuki’s elemental skill, as that is where the bulk of her damage and swirling capabilities come from. Then you’ll want to invest in her Elemental Burst and lastly in her Basic Attacks, which you can also completely skip.
