The Genshin Impact Version 5.4 livestream just dropped today, and during it, the developers behind the game revealed more information about the upcoming characters and banners we can expect to see in the new version. In total, the new version will bring 1 new 5-star character and three rerunning characters while also adding 1 new 5-star weapon. Below you can find a full breakdown of the banners for each phase, so let’s not waste any more time and get started.

Phase One Banners
Phase one of Version 5.4 will feature two character banners and one weapon banner.
Character Banners
The character banner’s names are as follows:
- Dawn’s Drifting Reverie
- Romatime Meluserenity
Both character Event Wishes will share the same pity and rate up 4-star units, so make sure to pick the character you want to go for and pull for them. The Dawn’s Drifting Reverie banner will increase your chance of pulling the new 5-star character Yumemizuki Mizuki, while the Romatime Meluserenity banner will increase your chance of pulling the rerunning 5-star unit Sigewinne.
Also worth noting is that Yumemizuki Mizuki will become available in the standard with [Wanderlust Invocation] after the release of Version 5.5, so if you don’t manage to get her on her rate-up banner, you will still have a chance of getting her in the standard banner afterward, though you may find it quite harder!
Weapon Banner
The weapon’s banner name is the same as usual; however, this time around it will be getting a new 5-star weapon added to it, alongside a rerunning 5-star weapon. Honestly, neither of the weapons on this banner is mediocre. One of them is the new 5-star weapon, the [Sunny Morning Sleep-In], while the other is Sigewinne’s signature weapon, [Silvershower Heartstrings]. Both weapons aren’t great, and we honestly would not recommend that you spend your resources on this phase’s weapon banner.

Phase Two Banners
Character Banners
Phase two will once again feature 2 characters and 1 weapon banner. The characters that will be getting a rerun in the second phase of Version 5.4 are Furina and Wriothesley. Furina is without a doubt one of the strongest units in the game right now, and she is a great driver and support for almost, if not all, of Fontaine’s units. Wriothesley, on the other hand, is a bit of an oddball. Ever since his release, he’s been awful, and to manage him properly you definitely would want to have his C1. Wriothesley hasn’t gotten a rerun in more than a year by this point, and all of those who’ve been patiently waiting for him can finally rejoice as you can now spend your Primogems.
Weapon Banner
The weapon banner for the second phase of Version 5.4 will feature the following weapons:
- Splendor of Tranquil Waters
- Cashflow Supervision
The [Splendor of Tranquil Waters] is an amazing weapon that can be used as a stat stick even if you do not place it on Furina, but it honestly would be a shame to have any other character wielding this weapon. As for the [Cashflow Supervision], it is certainly an interesting weapon, but one only Wriothesley can utilize to its full potential. The sad thing is that no one DPS Catalyst user can manage the [Cashflow Supervision]’s buff, leaving its only viable holder to be Wriothesley.
