The newest version of Genshin Impact, Version 5.4, is creeping up on us ever so slightly. The version is but two weeks away, and thanks to that, the developers have finally announced the livestream for the upcoming update. The livestream will take place this Friday, January 24, 2025, and will give more information about what we can expect from the upcoming update.

The Version 5.4 livestream is set to release on January 24, 2025, at 07:00 AM (UTC-5). For our American audience, this means you’ll have to get up early in the morning to catch it, while for our European audience, this means about noon. The livestream will cover details about the upcoming Version 5.4 update and is expected to last less than an hour. Perfect for watching with your morning coffee or with your lunch break.

What to Expect
During the Version 5.4 [Moonlight Amidst Dreams] special program, we can expect to receive more details about the upcoming version. From what we know from official releases, we are guaranteed to get more info on the upcoming 5-star character Yumemizuki Mizuki and what she can do. In addition, we will get more reveals for events and other goodies that are generally shared during livestream. The livestream this time around is a bit earlier, as most of Genshin Impact’s employees are expected to be off for the Chinese New Year, but that just means earlier reveals for us.
Apart from this, we honestly have to say that we are interested in what this version will have to offer to the game. Natlan has generally been the topic of a lot of controversy, and given that Version 5.3 covered the end of the Archon quest in Natlan, we speculate that Version 5.4 will be a filler version. Having said that, we are still hopeful that the developers will prove us wrong and will give us a ton of fun things to do during this new update.
