Granblue Fantasy: Relink has some really hard Quests when you reach Maniac and even Proud difficulty. Even before that you might struggle during the story and some of the other Quests in the game.

To make your life in the game easier it is crucial that you have a good team to help push you through content.

In this guide we’ll go over some of the best party team comps in Granblue Fantasy: Relink.

Best Party Team Comps

When it comes to forming your party in Granblue Fantasy: Relink you must focus on having both a lot of damage to kill enemies quickly, as well as having party members that can support you, and at the same time keep you alive.

Parties in Granblue Fantasy: Relink are formed from 4 characters and the Party editor can be accessed by pressing ESC when inside one of the game’s hub towns.

We believe that a good mix between 1 main DPS character, that will do the bulk of your damage, and 3 sub dps characters equipped with good support skills to boost your damage while keeping you alive is a good template to go on when building your team comps.

For us a good party team comp looks like this:

Main DPS - The character that you have invested in the most and that you like the most
Sub DPS - Your second built character. Preferably a character that can do a lot of damage while also having good support skills.
Tank - A character that can both deal some damage, while also being able to take some aggro off your team and is able to taunt enemies to give you bigger windows to deal damage, while also providing buffs to the team.
Support - A supporting unit that will provide utility for the team in the form of heals and revives, while also being able to deal a bit of damage.

Main DPS Character Recommendations

When it comes to DPS characters there is no one character that is better than the rest. Depending on how you build your character every character in Granblue Fantasy: Relink can be a main dps.

So for this role just pick the character whose play style you like the best and you want to invest in the most.

However if we had to pick characters best on their damage, then they would be the following:

Sub DPS Character Recommendations

Similar to the main dps the sub dps can basically be any character that you like and would like to play, however, it is worth noting that some characters perform better as sub dps than others.

Some of the characters we recommend as good Sub DPS characters are:

All three of these characters are able to deal amazing damage while adding great utility to the party in the forms of CC and buffs.

Tank Character Recommendations

The tank role in Granblue Fantasy: Relink is a bit oblique as all characters can become quite tanky and manage to in one way or another cover the tank role.

However, Granblue Fantasy: Relink does have one designated tank character, that can help you go through many bosses’ ultimate abilities without taking any damage, while also having some other companions that can stay in the face of the boss and do damage.

These are the characters we recommend for the Tank position on your team:

Vane

Siegfried

Katalina

Vane brings a lot of utility to the team with his taunt skill and his ability to make the whole party Invincible for an extended period of time, allowing you to dodge a ton of boss abilities.

Siegfried on the other hand is able to deal a ton of damage, while also staying up and close to bosses, making him a great character to have which can draw aggro from bosses.

While Katalina has a party wide immunity skill similar to Vane's, making her a great addition to any party.

Support Character Recommendations

The support role can be filled in by many characters, but for this role we advise having some characters that can either heal or revive your downed teammates to help you in some of the tougher fights.

All of these characters are able to support your team in various ways, be that through buffs, heals or even revives, which make every single one of them a good choice for the support role.

Best Comps

When it comes to the comps themselves, it is hard to give a solid recommendation as this depend on every player's play style.

However, we have a one party comp that we think anyone can use and should invest in the character early on to help them clear content later.

We will leave the main DPS position for this composition open, as that is something for you to choose depending on which character you like playing the most, for the remaining three spots we recommend the following:
