Refinium in Granblue Fantasy: Relink is one of the items that is used at the Blacksmith to uncap the max level of your weapons.

What is Refinium

Refinium is a consumable resource that comes in three different kinds. Those three being - Standard Refinium, Quality Refinium, Exceptional Refinium

Each of these can be found in the various difficulty quests of Granblue Fantasy: Relink and each are used to uncap your weapons at the Blacksmith at different levels up uncapping.

Standard Refinium is used for the beginner stages. After that your weapons start demanding Quality Refinium, and when you reach the endgame you will need a lot of Exceptional Refinium to uncap your weapons to Level 150, which is the max level for any weapon.

Where to Farm Refinium

Different kinds of Refinium can be farmed at different difficulty Quests. For example, if you’re looking for Standard Refinium you’d farm Easy and Normal quests.

For Quality Refinium it would be Extreme Quests, and for Exceptional Refinium it is Extreme, Maniac and Proud Difficulty Quests.

The best way to farm any kind of Refinium is to look through the Drop Items for any Quest and pick those that have the Refinium as a reward. We suggest going after Boss Type Quests as those are certain to drop Refinium and will help you uncap your weapons the fastest.

How to Use Refinium

To use Refinium you need to go to the Blacksmith in any of the game’s hub towns and find him using the Hammer icon or by simply Fast Traveling to him.

At the Blacksmith you need to click on Upgrade Weapons and pick your character and the weapon you want to upgrade. After you have reached the max level of a weapon you will be given the choice to uncap it.

When you go to uncap a weapon on the right you will be shown a list of items that you need to uncap the said weapon for the specific Star. You will notice that Refinium is one of the requirements for uncapping.

After you have gathered the required items you will be able to uncap your weapons and increase their level cap. Note that weapons can only go up to Level 150 and that is the current max, you will not be able to uncap your weapons any further.

After you have uncapped and level all of your weapons you can exchange any unneeded Refinium at Siero’s Knickknack Shack for Knickknack Vouchers which you can use to get the best Sigils in the game!
