While Helldivers 2 is continuing to suffer from a wide array of server issues, it's good to know that a lot more players are able to actually enter the game and enjoy it. The game offers a lot of daily and weekly objectives, which can provide players with currency and resource rewards, significantly increasing the rate at which they can progress through the game.

The newest Personal Order, which is just their name for a daily mission, will reward players with some Medals for defeating 15 Devastators. Since the game does not yet have an in-game list for all enemy types, some players might struggle to find out what this unit actually is. What Are Devastators in Helldivers 2?

Devastators in Helldivers 2 are medium-sized robots that are part of the Automaton faction. These can come in a few different variants, with one of them holding a shield and another having rockets attached to their shoulders. These enemies move very slowly and should not be confused with the much more oppressive Berserkers, which tend to run towards you with their melee weapons.

Devastators can be easily destroyed by using any of the armor-piercing weapons in the game, including the Railgun and Autocannon. As Devastators are part of the Automaton faction in Helldivers 2, they can currently be found on the western part of the map, occupying planets from the red zones. Devastators can be found on any difficulty setting in random places around the map, and they can also come from a Bot Drop event. If you are specifically searching for these enemies to complete your Personal Order, we suggest going through the many Automaton bases on the map, which will be filled with enemy robots ready to protect their property from democracy.
