Hello Kitty Island Adventure: Hangyodon Best Gifts

Hangyodon is one of the main characters you will encounter in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. He is a character that you get to meet after unlocking the [Snorkel] from Kuromi and diving into the Rainbow Reef. This also means that you might not get to encounter Hangyodon on your first day in HKIA, but you will definitely meet him eventually. Hangyodon is an important character in the story, as he is a crucial figure in unlocking the [Rainbow Reef].

Hangyodon is an easy character to get gifts for, as most of his best gifts can be acquired through [Fishing], and you don’t even need to craft anything. You will build up the most friendship level with Hangyodon by giving him Aquatic Rare Fish. Some examples of such fish are the [Sandy Puffler], the [Galaxy Grouper], and the [Briny Clamfish]. Each of these can be easily acquired after unlocking the [Fishing Rod]. In addition, each of the fish mentioned above is classified as a 5-value gift, so you will receive 5 Candlenuts from Hangyodon each time you give him one of the fish.

The other gift you can give Hangyodon to get a lot of friendship level and a ton of Candlenuts is the [Aquatic Music Box]. You can find the plans for this box in the Treasure Chest under Chococat’s pier in Seaside Resort. After unlocking the plans, you will notice that while the Aquatic Music Box requires a number of items, most of them aren’t all that difficult to obtain. This gift is classified as a 6-value gift and is a good item to give Hangyodon if you want to change things up and give him something else besides fish.

How to Craft

To craft the Aquatic Music Box, you will need to obtain three different items. Those items are a [Mechanism], an [Ingot], and 5 [Seashells]. You can get a Mechanism by crafting it using 3 Gizmos. Ingots can be obtained by crafting them for the price of 3 Iron. Lastly, Seashells can be found in the Rainbow Reef as a collectible item. There are a total of 50 Seashells you can get each day, so don’t worry about running out of them!
