The Snorkel is one of the most important items in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, as it allows you to finally dive into the water. By going down, you will uncover a whole new area to explore and will also finally get the chance to talk with Hangyodon and begin trying to unlock the Rainbow Reef. How to Unlock the Snorkel
You can unlock the Snorkel crafting recipe after completing the [Deep Diving] quest. This quest can be obtained by reaching Friendship Level 6 with Kuromi. During the quest, Kuromi will let you borrow her Snorkel to search for her lost locket. This is also the part where you’ll be taught how to use the Snorkel. After finding Kuromi’s locket and giving it back to her, she will reward you with the Snorkel Crafting Recipe.
How to Craft the Snorkel
Crafting the Snorkel is not hard at all. It requires the following materials.
- Rubber (10)
- Spark (2)
- Ingot (2)
Rubber can be found all around the Seaside Resort. Sparks can be crafted using [Light Stones], which you can get by gifting Kuromi gifts. And lastly, the Ingots can be crafted by using 3 Iron. After gathering all of the crafting materials, head on over to the Crafting Table and create the Snorkel.

How to Use the Snorkel
After you’ve crafted the Snorkel you are all set. The Snorkel will be equipped automatically, and once you have it, you don’t need to think anymore about crafting it. With the Snorkel equipped, you can go to any body of water, and once you’re deep enough, you will get a prompt on the right side of your screen with buttons to [Descend] and [Ascend]. Once you’re underwater, your stamina will drain gradually, and once it’s fully exhausted, you will be forced to go back to the surface to recharge it. And don’t worry, you won’t die even if you deplete all of your stamina!
