Pekkle is one of the friends that you will unlock a bit later in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. He can be found in Gemstone Town, located in the Gemstone Mountain area. He is an important character to build Friendship Levels with, as he is the main protagonist in unlocking the Dance Hall in Gemstone Town; as such, you should try and raise your friendship with him as soon as possible. Luckily, Pekkle has some decent and easy-to-get gifts that you can give him starting from day 1, so you won’t have to struggle all that much with raising his Friendship Level.

Cavern Clamfish | Gemstone Mountain |
The best gift you can give Pekkle in the early game is a [Cavern Clamfish]. This fish is a 4-value gift that will earn you a total of 4 Feathers each time you give it to Pekkle. In addition to this, due to being a fish, you can easily catch a lot of them, and you’re only required to have a [Fishing Rod], as well as some time, of course. The Cavern Clamfish can be found in the Gemstone Mountain, and they come in three sizes, with each size giving the same number of friendship and Feathers. You can fish for Cavern Clamfish in the Crystal Caves.

If you don’t fancy fishing or are simply looking for a slightly higher-valued gift, then you can try making a [Hot Cocoa]. To make a Hot Cocoa you will first need to upgrade your Espresso Machine, so if you haven’t yet done that, we recommend setting your sights on the Cavern Clamfish. However, if you already have the Espresso Machine upgrade, the Hot Cocoa is definitely the better choice, as it is a 5-value gift, and you will get 5 Feathers each time you give one to Pekkle.
How to Craft
To craft a Hot Cocoa you will need three items, which are a Candlenut, a Chocolate Coin, and Coral Milk. Candlenuts can be obtained by giving gifts to Hangyodon, who is almost always found near the Espresso Machine. Chocolate Coins, on the other hand, are scattered all around the Rainbow Reef, and there are a total of 15 of them for you to farm each day. Lastly, you can get Coral Milk by also exploring the Rainbow Reef, so you’ll be killing two birds with one stone.
