Winner: GEN
A phenomenal start to the split with GEN dominating the reigning LCK champions HLE. Despite Naafiri being incredibly busted in patch 25.06, Peanut was unable to fully utilize her kit due to the oppressive synergy of Chovy's Ahri and Canyon's Vi. GEN led the series 1-0.
Afterwards, HLE was able to strike back, racking up some early game kills for Viper's Ashe, however, Chovy's Azir around the first set of Grubs quickly skyrocketed their lead ultimately leading to a clean 2-0 for GEN.
