How to Complete Every "Crime Spree" Kickstart Quest in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2
This questline consists of five different challenges, all centered around the new vault-robbing mechanic in banks. Below is a step-by-step walkthrough on how to complete them!
Mine a Gold Vein or Swim in Gold River Water to Gain the Effects of Gold Rush
For the first quest, you need to activate the Gold Rush effect by either:
- Mining a Gold Vein
- Swimming in the Gold River
Swimming is the quicker option—just jump into the river to gain the effect instantly! Alternatively, you can mine a Gold Vein near the river. These are yellowish rocks that can be broken with your pickaxe. Mining them not only gives you the Gold Rush effect but also rewards you with gold bars.

Purchase an Item from Each Black Market
For this quest, you need to buy one item from each Black Market. Check the image below for their locations!
Collect the Falcon Eye Sniper or Plasma Burst Laser in Different Matches
The next quest requires you to collect either a Falcon Eye Sniper or a Plasma Burst Laser in three different matches. These weapons are often found in vault chests, so make sure to check inside Bank Vaults when looting.
Restore Health or Shields with Med-Mist Grenades, Gold Splash, or Chug Jugs
For this quest, you need to restore health or shields using one of the following:
- Med-Mist Grenades
- Gold Splash
- Chug Jugs

A great way to complete this quest is by defeating the new boss, Fletcher Kane. He drops a Legendary Chug Jug that restores 200 health or shields, making it an easy way to finish this challenge!
Eliminate Players with Legendary or Better Weapons
For the final quest, you need to eliminate three players using a Legendary or Mythic weapon. You can find these high-tier weapons by:
- Opening rare chests
- Buying them from Black Markets
- Looting from a boss
