How to Complete Every 'Pirate Code Three' Quest in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3

Fortnite x Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration started 4 days ago! With this update, you'll find a brand-new battle pass and questline called 'Cursed Sails.' Like previous collaborations, the battle pass comes in two versions: a free version and an upgraded version that costs 1,000 V-bucks to unlock. To progress and earn rewards, you'll need to complete quests from the new questline.

These Jack Sparrow quests are released in parts, with a new part unlocking every other day. Today, we get access to 'Pirate Code Three' challenges. In this guide, we'll walk you through completing every quest from these challenges and eventually unlock the Jack's Ship Glider in Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 3.

How to Complete Every 'Pirate Code Three' Quest in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3

As mentioned, the questline consists of multiple parts, each unlocking every other day. Just like the challenges from 'Pirate Code One' and 'Pirate Code Two', the new questline has 5 more tasks to complete. Completing these quests will reward you with XP and Cursed Gold, the currency needed to unlock rewards from the 'Cursed Sails' battle pass. Here's how to complete each quest from the 'Pirate Code Three' questline:

Visit Shipwreck Shallows and Eliminate an Opponent in a Single Match

For this quest, head to the Shipwreck Shallows point of interest (POI) and eliminate an opponent in the same match. This can be either another player or an NPC guard.

Eliminate Opponents While Carrying a Medallion

In this challenge, you need to eliminate three opponents while carrying a Medallion. First, defeat one of the four bosses to obtain a Medallion. Then, eliminate three players or NPC guards to complete the quest.

Listen to Pirate Tales From Different Pirates

For this quest, listen to the Pirate Tales from different Pirates. Four new Pirates were introduced in the latest update. Simply talk to them and click on the question mark to hear their tales. Check the image below for their locations on the map.

Reboot, Revive, or Eliminate in the Underworld

This challenge requires you to reboot, revive, or eliminate a player in the Underworld. In squads, you can revive or reboot your teammate. In solo play, eliminate a player in the Underworld to complete the quest.

Read "Dead Men's Tales" Book

The final quest requires you to read the "Dead Men's Tales" book. This book is located west of the Grim Gate POI and south of the Underworld inside a structure. Refer to the image below for its exact location.
