  • First, head to the southwest part of the Cindersap Forest and locate the new secret door.
  • To unlock the new secret door, you need to reach level 10 in all of your skills: Farming, Mining, Foraging, Fishing, and Combat.
  • Once you've mastered all of your skills, you'll gain access to the Mastery Room. Inside, you'll find five Mastery Challenge Shrines.
  • Next, focus on leveling up your Combat Skills to unlock the Combat Shrine. You'll need to earn 10,000 XP. (It's unknown if you need to level up the specific skill related to the shrine you want to unlock, so you can try leveling up different skills simultaneously.)
  • Once you've completed this task, you'll receive Mastery rewards in the Mastery Room, including a new trinket slot and an Anvil, which allows you to re-forge trinkets.

There isn't a specific method to guarantee obtaining a Frog Egg. The only way to acquire one is by defeating enemies and hoping that one of them will drop this trinket. Some players have reported finding their Frog Eggs in the Skull Cavern, so you may have a higher chance of obtaining one there as well.

All that's left for you to do is place the Frog Egg in your new trinket slot, and a cute frog pet will appear next to you. Your new frog will not only follow you but also consume nearby enemies every 12 seconds. Note that enemies killed by the frog won't drop any items and do not count as additional kills.

You can change the color of your frog by using the Anvil. First, you need to craft the Anvil with 50 Iron Bars. Then, you can re-forge your trinket with one frog egg and three iridium bars (per use). This is all you need to change the frog's color.

There are a total of eight colors available for the frogs. Void and Prismatic are the rarest ones, and the most common one is Green. There are also Blue, Blue-Green, Yellow, Red, and Brown.

That's all you need to do to get a new pet friend. Try it out and have fun choosing your favorite frog color. Check our website for more interesting and useful Stardew Valley content!
