To complete the 'Hit Opponents or Yourself With Shockwave Grenades' quest, you'll need Shockwave Grenades. However, these grenades were vaulted at the start of Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix. This makes the quest seem impossible—until you realize there's a workaround.

A new boss, Kit, was introduced in today’s update. Upon defeating him, he drops a Mythic weapon called Kit's Shockwave Launcher, which uses Shockwave Grenades as ammunition. Here’s how to make it work: grab the launcher and use it to complete the quest.

Where to Find Kit in Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix

You can find Kit at his named location, Catty Corner. Check the map image below for his exact location.

Like other boss locations, Catty Corner is heavily guarded. We recommend first acquiring a Ghost disguise from a nearby Phone Booth. Make sure your HP and Shields are maxed out before engaging in battle. Once you defeat Kit, he will drop Kit's Shockwave Launcher, which fires Shockwave Grenades.

Use this launcher to complete the 'Hit Opponents or Yourself With Shockwave Grenades' quest.

Additionally, defeating Kit also grants you a Vault Keycard. This keycard unlocks his vault, where you'll find two Ghost Chests and two Rare Chests filled with loot.
