Etheria: Restart’s release date is just around the corner, and with the huge hype that the game has going for it, it is certain to have a ton of players in the first couple of weeks of its release. Having said that, as with any gacha game, players tend to fall off as soon as the free pulls start to run out. That is, unless the game has plans to continue giving out a decent amount of free pulls to keep them interested. But does Etheria: Restart have that? Well, let’s try and answer this question!

Etheria: Restart is shaping up to be a free-to-play-friendly game. We say this because we have first-hand experience with its gacha system, which is known to either make or break almost any gacha game, and truth be told, while Etheria: Restart’s gacha system is not the best, it definitely has a lot of good going for it.

For one, one pull costs exactly 100 of the game’s premium currency, which is a godsend when calculating how many pulls you have left and is generally a very clear way of telling the player how much they actually get. We’ve been used to seeing some strange numbers from other gacha games, such as 160, 180, 300, and whatnot, all of which can become confusing the more premium currency you start stacking up. So, having Etheria: Restart set the pull cost at 100 is a big plus in my eyes.

Second is the guaranteed summon for the current rate-up unit. While the rates for the game aren’t anything breathtaking, the guaranteed summon sure is. No more do we have to worry about winning the 50/50 and spending an enormous amount on pulls for a single unit. Etheria: Restart takes care of that by setting up a system for their limited-time units, where you are guaranteed to get the unit within 100 pulls. This makes it easy for players to calculate how many wishes they need to get a character. And with a high limit set to 100, there is no uncertainty on whether you will lose the 50/50 and have to spend double the amount of pulls that you originally hoped to spend.

All in all, the generous gacha system, combined with the low requirement for a pull, makes Etheria: Restart a good F2P-friendly gacha game. Couple this with the numerous events and free pulls that you get from completing the story and the game’s various modes, and you have a good game where you will find it easy to get most of the newer units that come out!
