An exciting start to the LEC professional season as the entire region saw drastic roster changes. Not only is G2 looking a lot weaker, but the top spots are heavily contested by the likes of FNC, GX, KC, and MKOI. Following the domination of G2 in previous years, the LEC finally feels a lot more competitive with a lot more stakes and fun plays to witness for fans.
With that in mind, we will go over the Bo1 match in the 2025 LEC Winter Split which has Karmine Corp facing Team Heretics in the second week of the LEC.

We will take a look at the picks and bans of the game. Although the first three weeks of the LEC will feature best-of-one matches (Bo1), we will soon get to see the pros adapt to the new Fearless Draft format that has been adapted for all major regions.

A disastrous start for TH as Vladi's Viktor was able to secure two kills at the start of the game following a failed invade. Despite the headstart, TH was able to fight back and prevent explosive snowballing on the side of KC.
Despite the brutal stomp, TH was able to find ways to remain relevant in the game as a great outplay from the rookies on TH stopped KC from getting the Hextech soul, however, Viktor was much too fed. With a whopping 10K gold lead at the 34-minute, KC got the Baron and ultimately won the Bo1.
