Kingdom Come Deliverance II Release Date and Packs Explained

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is just a few days away from our grasp, and we can’t wait to finally get our hands on the sequel to the amazing Kingdom Come: Deliverance. The game will release next Tuesday, February 4th, 2025, leaving us with just three days to prepare. Given that the game is not that far away, we should also consider which version to get. Currently, there are two packs that you can choose from, one being the standard edition and the other being the golden edition, and in this guide, we’ll explain each, hopefully helping you decide which one to get.

Release Time

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II will be released on February 4, 2025, at 17:00 CET. While most of the world will be able to get the game on February 4, some countries, such as Japan, will have to wait until the 5th to get their hands on the game due to time zones. You can turn to the table below to get an idea of when you can expect the game in your region.

Packs

There are currently two packs available for pre-purchase. These packs are the

• Standard Edition
• Gold Edition

Each edition contains the full game, and if you purchase either before the release of the game, you will also get the [Pre-Order Bonus], which contains a unique questline titled [The Lion’s Crest], which upon completion will reward you with the legendary armor and weapon set of the famous [Knight Bunswick]. This pre-order bonus will only be available until the 4th of February, so better make a decision quickly!

Standard Edition

Sadly, there is not much to say about the standard edition of the game. It contains only the base game, and if you pre-order it before the 4th of February, you will also get the pre-order bonus, but that is about it. Right now, the Standard Edition sits at $59.99.

Gold Edition

The Gold Edition for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is priced at $79.99, and it comes with the following items:

• Base Game
• Gallant Huntsman’s Kit
• 3 Upcoming Expansions
• Shields of Seasons Passing

If you’re a fan of the game and have the money, it is, in our opinion, the better deal of the two, as you won’t have to bother with buying the upcoming expansions separately in the future and giving money for the [Expansion Pass]. But if you do not have the $80 bucks for the game right now, we do believe that the standard edition will cover most of your needs, and you can always buy the expansion pack later on, once you’re more stable.
