LEC 2024 Spring Playoffs Results and Standings: Week 2

The LEC 2024 Spring Playoffs have kicked off with 8 teams battling to win it all. Since G2 already has secured their spot at MSI 2024 following their Winter Split Title, 7 teams are fighting tooth and nail to earn their right to compete internationally. 

We will take a look at all of the matches in Week 2 and see which teams will advance to the next Semifinals and Finals. The League of Legends Esports scene is only getting more and more views each year as more and more people are starting to view Esports as legitimate competitive entertainment.  

LEC 2024 Spring Playoffs Day 1 Results and Matches

We will go through all of the Bo3 matches that were played during Day 1 of the LEC 2024 Spring Playoffs.

VIT vs BDS Match and Results

Team Vitality versus Team BDS was a banger series with VIT taking very aggressive plays and punishing BDS, however, some misplays led to a very exciting series.

BDS was able to defeat VIT and advance further into the upper final as VIT will have one last chance to redeem themselves if they want to get closer to earning their spot at MSI.

FNC vs G2 Match and Results

Fnatic was able to quickly regain its glory and finish first during the Regular Season. However, the LEC classic has seen G2 being victorious.

Despite some very minor hiccups, G2 was able to defeat FNC in a very clean 2-0 fashion. Caps was unlocked and BrokenBlade performed excellently, leading fans to still hold G2 as the best team in the LEC.

TH vs SK Match and Results

Team Heretics versus SK Gaming was a banger series with TH returning to their peak form after a deciding game.

Following a rather frustrating Game 1, TH was able to masterfully punish SK at almost every avenue, with Zwyroo popping off despite being a rookie. Overall, SK had a lot of changes of winning the series, but TH remained patient and resilient despite all odds thus winning the match 2-1.

GX vs MDK Match and Results

GiantX versus Mad Lions KOI was a banger series with some very surprising twists and turns leading to an exciting finale.

Despite GX giving it their all, MDK was able to outplay and ultimately eliminate GX from the Spring Playoffs with a very contested 2-1.
