In Lies of P, your choices throughout the game can lead to different endings. If you want to unlock all the endings, including the "best" one, follow this guide.
Real Boy: They all lived happily ever after
This is the worst ending in Lies of P. After defeating Simon Manus and using the elevator to descend, you'll encounter Geppetto. He offers to turn you into a real boy using the Hand of God and Ergo but at the cost of your heart. You can:
- Give your heart
- Refuse
To get the 'Real Boy' ending, give Geppetto your heart. He'll take it, leaving you lifeless. Later at Hotel Krat, you join Geppetto, both covered in blood, as he welcomes you.

Rise of P
This ending is the one most players get on their first playthrough. Similar to the 'Real Boy' ending, you meet Geppetto after defeating Simon Manus. He offers to make you a real boy but asks for your heart. You can:
- Give your heart
- Refuse
For the 'Rise of P' ending, refuse to give your heart. Geppetto activates the Nameless Puppet from his box. You fight the puppet, and after defeating it, Geppetto sacrifices himself to save you. You transfer your Ergo into Sophia's puppet, giving her life as you lose yours.

Free from the Puppet String
To achieve this ending, you need to make specific choices throughout the game. Always choose to tell the truth (never lie). For a detailed list of these choices, check our "All Truth and Lie Options" guide.
After defeating Laxasia the Complete in Arche Abbey, you'll meet Sophia. You have two options:
- Give her peace
- Let her live
To get the 'Free from the Puppet String' ending, choose to let her live. Later, when confronting Simon Malus, tell him that you liberated Sophia. After his demise, when you meet Geppetto and he asks for your heart, refuse. This refusal leads to the Nameless Puppet fight and a similar outcome to the 'Rise of P' ending, with Geppetto calling you a "useless puppet" as he dies.
