With the introduction of Swiftplay, more players can test out new builds, strategies and champions in a hastened version of Summoner's Rift. Although the game mode is not meant to present a real competitive match, players can still benefit from practicing against others without having to sacrifice LP or so much time.
With that in mind, the devs have provided some insights as to what we can expect in the next League of Legends 25.S1.3 (15.3) patch.

Game Pacing Changes
- Minions Upgrade every: 90s ⇒ 60s
- Melee/Ranged Minion AD growth now matches Classic SR
- Dragon Respawn Timer: 4:30 ⇒ 5:00
- Rift Herald Spawn Timer: 10:00 ⇒ 11:30
- Sudden Death now exists
- At 25m structures lose 35% of their resists/min
- At 30m, targetable structures lose 3.3% max HP/sec
It is interesting to see how Swiftplay will pan out over the course of the year and whether League of Legends players will find it beneficial to practice or simply to have a quick fun game on Summoner's Rift.
