Tier List Explanation

LoL Patch 25.S1.1 (15.1) Tier List - Best Top Lane Champions
Riot Games

This tier list will examine some of the most-played League of Legends champions in the bot lane. Keep in mind that this is for Emerald+ divisions.

  • S-Tier: The best champions you can use to ensure you are always victorious.
  • A-Tier: Great options but lacking just slightly either in terms of damage or utility.
  • B-Tier: Viable and reliable in most situations, you can manage rather decently.

NOTE: Although this tier list strives to be as objective as possible in terms of viability, you should not limit yourself to strictly adhere to this list, but rather experiment and see which champion feels fun to play with.

S-Tier Support Champions

Lulu
Lulu

Despite the constant barrage of nerfs, Lulu is still dominating solo queue. The devs are struggling to balance her kit, and it might be some time before she steps down from the top of the list.

Braum
Braum

Braum is excellent for peeling and defending your carries, and has decent CC which make him a great pick.

Nami
Nami

Nami is rising due to Lucian, and Lucian due to Nami so it's a bit of symbiotic relationship but even if you're paired with a different carry, you wil find a lot of success.

Thresh
Thresh

Thresh is once again at the top of the list due to his great utility and overall well-rounded kit giving him just enough CC and tankiness.

Milio
Milio

Milio is another excellent pairing for Lucian, and the healing coupled with CC cleanse is great in team fights.

Karma
Karma

Karma is an amazing enchanter that can harass enemies and provide much-needed utility to your team.

Rell
Rell

Rell is a great engage tool that can swiftly swing things, especially if you manage to get on top of the enemy backline.

Nautilus
Nautilus

Nautilus is your go-to CC machine that can effectively shut down enemy carries.

A-Tier Support Champions

Leona
Leona

Leona is a classic engage champion that can kick off a fight with only a single ult.

Sona
Sona

Sona has seen a lot of play recently and her rather easy playstyle makes it even more tempting to try her out.

Rakan
Rakan

Rakan is a great partner to Xayah and you can get a lot of mileage due to his snappy movements giving your team the much-needed CC and engage.

Neeko
Neeko

Neeko can have a high skill ceiling if you master her passive and her ultimate can be a game-changer.

Bard
Bard

Bard is difficult to master but offers a ton of utility to your team either through roaming or effectively utilizing his ult.

Janna
Janna

Janna is a standard enchanter that offers tons of tools to stop enemy dives and engages.

Poppy
Poppy

Poppy is fantastic in team fights as you can remove tanks or junglers from team fights with your ult and stop enemy engages.

Pantheon
Pantheon

Pantheon is a very aggressive but rewarding pick if you look to dominate your lane.

B-Tier Support Champions

Taric
Taric

Taric is incredible due to his ult but can be quite hit-or-miss if your carry falls behind.

Morgana
Morgana

Morgana has seen better days but her shield can decide most team fights  and her snare can be quite annoying to deal with.

Elise
Elise

Elise is a bit complicated to master as you can use her kit to dive enemy champions early into the game but being able to effectively roam and drop turret aggro are crucial to your success.

Zyra
Zyra

Zyra's damage has been gutted, but she still remains quite the nuisance as a support, especially once you pick up a Liandry's Torment.
