The 2023 League of Legends World Championship hosted in South Korea is the thirteenth installment of this glorious international tournament with 22 teams competing for the title and $445,000 first place prize.
League of Legends Semifinalists
The last 4 remaining teams in the World Championship will be facing off this weekend. Three teams from the LPL and only one from the LCK in the face of T1. Will the Finals be a clash between the LPL region or will the LCK team once again prove why they are one of the most influential and best teams the LoL eSports scene has ever seen. Given Faker's track record in Bo5s against LPL teams, we might see another trophy being picked up by the Unkillable Demon King himself.

LCK's Last Hope in the Face of T1
The LCK teams had a rough time in terms of matches this year as most of them had to face the LPL numerous times or face other LCK rosters. Yet T1 was able to persevere against LNG and stomp them into the ground in a very clean 3-0 in the Quarterfinals.
With the Semifinals underway, T1 will have to face the remaining LPL teams in an attempt to secure their fourth title in the League of Legends World Championship, this team has shown incredible results in previous international events so we are for sure to see a banger of a series with Faker's game-defining legacy in the eSports scene shining brighter than ever with this player's onslaught on the Rift seeming unstoppable.
