Marvel Rivals: Leaked List of All Playable Characters

Marvel Rivals, developed by NetEase, leads players into a thrilling narrative where the tyrannical Doctor Doom clashes with his future self from the year 2099. This cataclysmic event, known as the Timestream Entanglement, sets the stage for a multiversal showdown, where heroes and villains must unite or clash to prevent reality from falling under Doom's control. These battles will happen in 6v6 shooter matches. 

Marvel Rivals Playable Heroes:

The list of characters has been leaked and it isn't officially confirmed by NetEase. More familiar faces will likely join the roaster of heroes. 

Black Panther

Black Panther, also known as T'Challa, is the king of the technologically advanced nation of Wakanda. He is also one of the smartest characters in the Marvel Universe, on par with the likes of Tony Stark and Bruce Banner. 

Doctor Strange

Before becoming a hero, Doctor Strange was a skilled neurosurgeon whose career was cut short due to a car accident. Now, he protects the world from mystical threats using his mastery of the mystic arts. Seeing how NetEase will translate his powers to Marvel Rivals will surely be very interesting.

Groot

Despite his limited vocabulary, Groot is a fan-favorite character, because of his big heart. He's known for sacrificing himself to save his friends, only to regenerate from a single twig!

Hulk

When Bruce Banner transforms into the Hulk, his strength becomes limitless. Aside from that, he's also a brilliant scientist with multiple PhDs. Hulk will most probably be a tank character, relying on his melee powers.

Iron Man

Tony Stark's alter ego, Iron Man, is one of Marvel's most well-known characters, thanks to the portrayal of Robert Downey Jr. Iron Man is not just a superhero; he's also a billionaire inventor and philanthropist, protecting the world thanks to his suit, powered by a miniature arc reactor implanted in his chest.

Loki

Another fan-favorite, who even got a spin-off TV show, portrayed by Tom Hiddleston. As the Norse God of Mischief, Loki's tricks and schemes often keep both heroes and villains on their toes. 

Luna Snow

Luna is a K-pop Idol turned superhero. She harnesses the power of ice and sound to fight evil. She debuted as a character in the Marvel Future Fight mobile game before making her way into the comics and now Marvel Rivals! Fun Fact: There is a real-life K-pop idol called Luna and she's a part of the Gold Gen group f(x). The real Luna held an online concert in Marvel Future Fight

Magik

Illyana Rasputin is also known to Marvel fans as Magik. She is a powerful sorceress, ruling over the dimension known as Limbo.

Magneto

We're returning to the Marvel classics. Magneto is an X-men villain, motivated by his desire to protect mutants. Fans know that he's the father of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, two heroes who have often opposed him in battle.

Mantis

Mantis, from Guardians of the Galaxy, is an empath and martial artist. She has a quirky side, often misinterpreting social cues due to her literal understanding of language.

Namor

Namor is actually one of Marvel's oldest characters. His first appearance was in 1939's "Marvel Comics #1." He's also described as the first anti-hero in comic books. 

Peni Parker

You might know Peni from The Spider-Verse, as a small girl with a mech suit called SP//dr. Her character design is heavily inspired by Japanese manga and anime.

Rocket Raccoon

Despite his diminutive size, Rocket Raccoon is one of the stars of Guardians of the Galaxy. He is a skilled marksman and tactician, and a really good friend to Groot.

Scarlet Witch

Wanda Maximoff is another fan-favorite character who got her own show. Her reality-altering powers make her one of the most powerful heroes in the Marvel Universe. She's been both an Avenger and a villain in different comic books and canons.

Spider-Man

Of course, Marvel Rivals can't miss out on Peter Parker. Does Spider-Man really need an introduction, being one of the most famous characters in comic book history? We sure can't wait to hear his funny one-liners in the upcoming game.

Star-Lord

Peter Quill, also known as Star-Lord, leads the ragtag group of heroes known as the Guardians of the Galaxy. He's a huge fan of '80s pop culture, especially music from that era.

Storm

Ororo Munroe, aka Storm, is another X-Man character joining the list of Marvel Rivals heroes. She can control the weather, which allegedly makes her one of the most powerful mutants in the Marvel Universe.  

The Punisher

Frank Castle is an anti-hero who wants vengeance. Despite his brutal methods, he has a strict code of honor and often targets only those he deems truly deserving of punishment.
