Lovander is a popular pal, thanks to the 'love'-related jokes surrounding it. It offers more than that, giving Palworld players great drops, stats, and utility. Who is Lovander in Palworld?
Lovander wasn't originally #69 in the paldeck, but Pocket Pair changed its number to fit its description: "Seeking a night of love, it is always chasing someone around." Lovander is a Neutral element Pal, which means it's countered by Dark Element Pals. Neutral Pals, however, don't counter any element.
While fighting together, Lovander grants the player and itself the life steal effect, which absorbs some of the received damage and restores HP. This can be quite useful for combat sustainability. Otherwise, Lovander isn't particularly strong in battle.
Lovander has Handiwork lv.2, Mining lv.1, Medicine Production lv.2, and Transporting lv.2. Lovander has drops that play into the 'love' theme - Cake, Suspicious Juice, Strange Juice, Mushroom, and Memory Wiping Medicine. All of this makes Lovander a great pal for the base; however, it's not as strong in battle.

Where to Find Lovander in Palworld?
Lovander can be located in the desert biomes on the Palworld map. Try finding Lovander on the coast of the Desert Biome, north of the Cinnamoth Forest waypoint. It's important to note that Lovander appears only during the night!
How to Catch Lovander?
Lovander appears around level 18-22, usually by itself, making it a rare catch. Since Lovander is a Neutral type pal, Dark Element pals counter it. You can take one for battle, but make sure they're not too strong, in case they defeat Lovander. A Giga sphere would be enough to capture this pal.

How to Breed Lovander?
You can get Lovander through a few different breeding combinations. Below, you can see which already captured pals you can mix together to receive Lovander without combat:
