All Upcoming Quality of Life Changes

As we’ve already mentioned RAID: Shadow Legends revealed that there will be a total of 6 major quality-of-life changes that they are working on and are planning on bringing to the game with future updates. These six changes are as follows:

  • Tavern Improvements
  • Epic Champion Empowerment
  • Artifact Presets
  • Accessory Filters
  • Artifact Removal Booster Item
  • Hydra Clash Participation Rewards

Unfortunately as of right now, we don’t have a lot of information to share on what all of these changes will offer.

Yes some of them are self-explanatory as the Artifact Presents and Accessory Filters change, however, others such as the Epic Champion Empowerment leave one to wonder just what kind of buff the Epic Champions be getting.

However, luckily RAID: Shadow Legends did reveal a ton of information about the first quality of life changes on their list, the Tavern, and we’ll show you everything that they’re planning on changing with it.

All Upcoming Tavern Improvements

On their official Reddit server, the RAID: Shadow Legends developers disclosed a lot of information about the upcoming quality of life changes that we can expect to see coming to the Tavern.

Some of them are simple changes that you’ll hardly notice, while others will make your time in navigating the Tavern way easier, hopefully saving you a ton of nerves and time.

Below you can see all of the changes coming to the Tavern in future updates.

Champion Filter

The Champion Filter will work similarly to how you can filter your Champions in the collection, and it will also allow players to upgrade Champions who are placed in either of the Vaults, making this a good change to help you quickly find the Champions you need.

Champion Ascension

There will be changes to the Ascend tab in the Tavern and after the Tavern Improvements update that will feature a new slider, which you’ll to instantly pick the Ascension you want to ascend your Champions to, rather than having to manually click each ascension.

Upgrade Skills

As the name implies this change will tackle the Upgrade Skills tab in the Tavern, and after the update, you will notice a new slider that you’ll be able to move around to pick the amount of Skill Tomes you want to use, and instantly level up your Champions’ skill, rather than having to manually place 6 Tomes each time.

Instant Upgrade

The Instant Upgrade feature will make upgrading Champions easier by introducing a new checkbox that players and tap to filter out only Common and Uncommon Champions that can be used as potential Sacrifices.

Players will also be able to later manually choose if they want to keep these champions, and it is worth mentioning that any locked champions, or champions that are used elsewhere will be excluded from this automatic selection.

Instant Rank Up

A new Instant Rank Up button will appear after the update which will make it so that once you tap it, the game will automatically fill up the Upgrade Rank requirements for one or more Champions with any available resources.

This will make the tedious process of ranking up Champions way faster, and there are certain systems planned that will make it so that the game doesn’t accidentally use any Champions that you might need.

For example, you’ll be able to set a priority for Upgrade Rank food, like setting Chickens at the top, or completely making it so that Champions can’t be used as food.

There will certainly be a ton of optimizations to this very feature, as ranking up is an important part of the game, and we doubt that RAID: Shadow Legends would want you to accidentally feed important Champions.

Summary

All in all, the Tavern changes coming with the future updates seem like a great addition to the game which will bring RAID: Shadow Legends to modern times, making tedious processes more automated and easier for the end user.

We have some concerns about how the integrated filters will work, however, with enough time we do believe that we’ll get used to them and will save a ton of time by endlessly scrolling through the Tavern and clicking mindlessly just to upgrade one Champion.

As of right now, there is no official information on when these changes might come out so do not expect them to come tomorrow or next week.

That being said, we’ll keep you up to date with any new information regarding the release of these new quality-of-life changes, as well as any new information that comes up regarding the quality-of-life roadmap.
