Ready or Not Best Guns: Sidearms Tier List

In truth, not a lot separates the array of sidearms available in Ready or Not 1.0. As we every equipment slot, sidearms should be selected to suit the mission at hand. That said, there are some sidearms that boast style over substance and those that seem to perform reliably across a wide range of missions.

Here's every handgun in Ready or Not 1.0 ranked tier list style!

D-Tier Sidearms

Kimber TLE 1911

The 1911 packs all the punch of a Revolver, except with none of the style. What the 1911 totes in armor penetration is let down by suboptimal recoil. Let's just be thankful that this gun can only jam in real life, and not in Ready or Not!

C-Tier Sidearms

Colt Python (357 Magnum)

The Colt Python only holds 6 rounds and can only mount a laser attachment. It's powerful, which is good, however with that power comes all the recoil you'd expect from a Revolver-type sidearm. We're placing it in the bottom of C-tier because it's too cool visually to place any lower.

Colt M45A1

The M45A1 is the former sidearm of choice for real-world US Marines. It boasts more firepower (armor penetration)than a Glock, however, has far fewer shots at only 7. This low mag size can become a huge issue when pairing the M45A1 with a shield, as the reduced accuracy while using a shield can make for a lot of whiffed bullets.

B-Tier Sidearms

G19

The G19 has a wide range of attachment options, and its 15-round mag size makes it well-suited to use as your stand-in primary weapon when using a combat shield. Its only drawback is its weak 9mm ammunition versus heavily armored targets.

SIG-Sauer P229 (M11 Compact)

Next up, we have the former handgun of the US Navy Seals, the P229. With 9mm rounds and 15 bullets per mag, the P229 is comparable to the Glock, however, slightly improved recoil control just about edges this gun ahead of the G19.

USP45

The USP was initially designed as a primary weapon for the US Special Operations Command. As such, this gun boasts unrivalled reliability. 12 rounds per mag is good but is often not quite enough to bring down heavily armored targets. We're slotting the USP into B tier as a decent handgun, and an extremely pretty weapon at that.

A-Tier Sidearms

Beretta 92X (B92X)

The real-world 92X is designed more for competition shooting, with fast reload speeds and upgraded trigger technology for terrifying rates of fire. It pays host to a 15-bullet mag size with 9mm rounds, the same as the Glock, meaning it shares many of the G19's strengths and weaknesses.

We're putting it in A tier simply for the fact that its trim silver finish makes it a far more stylish gun than its B-tier rivals.

S-Tier Sidearms

57 USG (FiveSeven)

The 57 is designed to deal well with body armor, and it shows. This plus its fat mag size of 20 makes it a truly deadly sidearm, whether as a backup weapon or for use alongside a shield. This is such a powerful gun that its short barrel length makes it, debatably, a fine choice as a primary weapon on some maps in Ready or Not 1.0. It can also carry flashlight, laser, and optic attachments to boot.
